Telecom Software Engineers

Job description

You will play a key role in the development and management of fonYou’s mobile telecom systems (OSS and BSS) at the company’s headquarters in Barcelona. fonYou will build a next generation, software-driven telecom platform and expects you to contribute to the achievement of the following overall goals:

  • Engineering an extremely reliable and scalable telecom systems platform
  • Setting up an open, standards-based software architecture
  • Achieving an optimum buy-versus-build balance

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the definition of the technology strategy and in technical planning processes
  • Preparation of technical requirements documents
  • Management and coordination of different technology vendors and service provider
  • Participation in internal and external project committees

Candidate profile

  • University degree in computer science/telecommunications engineering
  • Hands-on experience in telecom software systems integration and operations
  • Good knowledge on the most relevant telecom OSS and BSS products and vendors for mobile operators and MVNOs
  • Broad background and experience in modern software technologies and standards
  • Self-driven, innovative, pragmatic, team player
  • Excellent English and Spanish skills (written and oral)
  • Candidates should have at least 5 and 2 years experience for senior and junior positions, respectively
