Job description
You will play a key role in the development and management of fonYou’s mobile core network and service platforms at the company’s headquarters in Barcelona. fonYou will build a next generation network based on the latest available network concepts and technologies and expects you to help with the achievement of the following overall goals:
- Engineering an extremely reliable operations environment
- Setting up a highly efficient service creation platform
- Achieving significant cost savings compared to traditional network designs
Responsibilities
- Participation in the definition of the technology strategy and in technical planning processes
- Preparation of technical requirements documents
- Management and coordination of different technology vendors and service providers
- Participation in internal and external project committees
Candidate profile
- University degree in telecommunications engineering
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in mobile core network engineering and operations and in next generation (IMS) networks, SIP and VoIP
- Self-driven, innovative, pragmatic, team player
- Excellent English and Spanish skills (written and oral)
- Candidates should have at least 5 and 2 years experience for senior and junior positions, respectively
