Management team
fonYou’s management team consists of three professionals with extensive experience in both the telecom as well as in the internet sector. During their careers with first tier telecom operators, consulting firms and in investment banking they have acquired a thorough understanding of the inner workings of mobile operators and internet companies.
fonYou’s management has participated in a large number of mobile network operator, mobile virtual network operator and internet portal launches in a variety of different countries.

Fernando Núñez Mendoza, 48– Founder and CEO
Apart from acting as the CEO of fonYou, Fernando is also responsible for its technical operations.
Prior to co-founding fonYou, Fernando founded Mobile for Media Interactive (www.mobile4media.com), a company focused on creating innovative business models and technology platforms for new generation digital media services. Fernando is also founder, investor and board member of a number of real estate development and fund management companies in Eastern Europe.
Before that Fernando advised top management of major European telecom, media and internet companies and for many years managed large international projects, as a partner of first tier consulting firms such as Accenture or DiamondCluster, where he had European management responsibilities. Prior to that, Fernando worked for the European Space Agency for five years as programme manager in charge of strategic telecom infrastructure projects.
Fernando spent the first part of his professional career lecturing and conducting research at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain and at Purdue University in the US where he collaborated with renowned corporations and institutions such as the National Science Foundation. Fernando holds a degree in telecommunications engineering (honors) and Ph.D. in computer science (summa cum laude) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Clemens Rossberg, 34 – Founder and CFO
Clemens is in charge of the finance, legal and administrative areas at fonYou.
Prior to co-founding fonYou, Clemens co-founded NextGen Consulting (www.nextgen.es), a consultancy firm specialised in the Telecom industry where he acted as partner. NextGen Consulting was set up in London, UK, in 1999 and moved its headquarters to Barcelona, Spain, in 2000. During his time with NextGen Clemens participated in a large variety of different projects in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. These projects included, for example, mobile network operator and MVNO launches, license bids, analysis of new products and services as well as the publishing of research reports.
Before that, Clemens worked in investment bank Lehman Brothers' Telecom & Media group in London where he was involved in major European M&A deals. Prior to that, he was in the business planning department of mobile operator ONE in Austria.
Clemens has lectured at the finance institute of the University of Vienna and holds a degree in international business management from that university (specialisation in capital markets).

Albrecht von der Recke, 35 – Founder and COO
Albrecht leads fonYou’s commercial area and is responsible for marketing, products & services and operations.
Prior to co-founding fonYou, Albrecht co-founded NextGen Consulting (www.nextgen.es), a consultancy firm specialised in the Telecom industry where he acted as partner. As a consultant with NextGen Albrecht participated in a large variety of different projects in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America advising clients in areas such as mobile network operator and MVNO launches, license bids, as well as the definition of new services and pricing strategies.
Before that, Albrecht worked in the business planning and strategy areas of mobile operators Orange (Switzerland) and One (Austria). He was intensively involved in the successful service launches of these two operators.
Albrecht is member of the advisory board of Activamente (www.activamente.com), a leading agency for online marketing in Latin America. He holds a degree in international business management from the University of Vienna.
